Valleywag Gets The Scoop On Blockbuster
Published by Tech Spoofs | Filed under Shameless Attack Piece
Valleywag thinks it reported “news”, look here!

“Here’s what no one’s saying about Blockbuster’s acquisition of Movielink, the Hollywood-backed movie-download site: It’s a desperate move to shore up Blockbuster’s online failures. Blockbuster, remember, has been promising video downloads for most of this decade.”
You mean, Valleywag thinks it has just discovered Blockbuster’s history of online failures? Well, I guess they also thought they had discovered Fake Steve Jobs a few times too. That’s kind of like saying that Columbus discovered America or Al Gore discovered the Internet (though we’re pretty sure that one is true).
Well, one big “LOL” to Valleywag for making our day here at Tech Spoofs. We aren’t even real news and we managed to scoop them by about 5 minutes (after we twiddled with the date stamp for a while). Enjoy Valleywag’s journalistic prowess, here.
[We didn’t really bother to read the entire article, we were too busy looking for a funny picture.]
