Making Money In Web 2.0

Published by Tech Spoofs | Filed under Colloborative Business Hacks 2.0

We love our overlords at How To Split An Atom. Mostly because we are paid an obscene amount of money to. We think, however, that Steve’s attempt to explain how to market a business offline missed a critical point. Lets help you fill in the gaps. Before you start, we suggest you try the online thing. We here that it works.

Once you’re done, follow these steps, if you do you are all but guaranteed a successful Web 2.0 launch.

  1. Put on a parka. If you can’t find one, a raincoat will also work.

  2. Visit your local Chamber Of Commerce.

  3. Go to top floor.

  4. Make a note of the window closest to his desk.

  5. Tell whoever is in charge your plan for the next big collaborative, social, BBQ sauce recommendation engine.

  6. Proceed to be laughed out of his office. Some less pleasant members of the CoC may actually throw fruit at you for wasting their time. Aren’t you glad you brought that parka?

  7. Before leaving, now this is critical, throw yourself out of the window that you noted earlier.

  8. Find yourself a good lawyer

  9. …Profit

  10. [We disclaim that it would probably be a really bad idea for you to actually throw yourself off of a large building in order to collect on a law suit. That’s just silly. Most of these buildings have cameras, come on now… -ed]
